A group from Sills & Betteridge decided to particpate in the gruelling Lincoln 10K on Sunday 25th March 2012 and what a brilliant turnout it was! Of course, what better way to run but in the lovely sunshine!
The team ran to raise and donate money to LIVES charity.

Congratulations to our Gainsborough office for taking home the Community Engagement Award at the Marshall's Yard Awards last night!

We received a lovely email from Debbie Cocker-Brown (of S&B Gainsborough):

"We are proud to announce Sills and Betteridge Gainsborough team won the Marshall's Yard Community Engagement Award yesterday evening!!!

This is a great achievement, the branch has only been in Gainsborough since October 2010 and we are now very much a part of the Gainsborough Community.

Will Aid has awarded Sills & Betteridge with a certificate for being one of their 'Good Solicitors'!

This comes as part of the scheme to support 9 different charities by having your Will made for a donation instead of the Solicitor's fee.

We have raised a grand total of £8,181 and with our contribution in 2011 coming to £4,610!

Martin Gage of Will Aid visited us and met (from left to right) Christine Appleyard from our Boston office (Trusts & Estates Practitioner), Joann Fortune (Marketing Manager) and Richard Bussell (Head of Wills, Trusts & Probate department) from our Lincoln office.

Additionally, we found out that Sills & Betteridge is rated the No.1 Solicitors in Lincolnshire and ranked 13th in the East Midlands and 59th Nationwide. That's brilliant news!

We would like to say a big thank you to all our clients that kindly donated in the month of November to Will Aid. With your help, we've able to come this far in supporting those charities.

Sills donates prizes to Brant Broughton Pre-School

In support of the Mother's Day Pamper/Shppping Evening, that took place at Brant Broughton Pre-School on Friday 16th March 2012, we donated these two lovely cups filled with girly goodies which included chocolates and an Odeon Gift Voucher for those lucky winners.

We hope they have a fabulous evening!

Sills & Betteridge has again secured the Law Society’s law management quality mark, Lexcel. Lexcel is a recognised accreditation scheme for law firms which gives assurance that a practice meets high client care and business management standards.

All of the firm’s 8 offices now hold Lexcel. The firm had to undergo a rigorous annual assessment process which included background checks and an on-site visit from an experienced, trained Lexcel assessor. The firm has held the accreditation since 2002.
